Valle dell’Acate, the wine-producing estate directed by Gaetana Jacoo and Francesco Ferreri, now in its sixth generation of productive viticultural work, will participate in the 2015 edition of the benefit auction Wine-e Itaca.
The winery, committed to and sensitive to the needs of philanthropic activities, has donated to the Foundation Progetto Itaca Onlus a lot of their Tané (which includes several magnum bottles and others of a normal size), the top of the line wine of the estate, 100% Nero d’Avola. Tané, which in Sicilian dialect is the nickname for Gaetana, a deep garnet red in color, has an ample and complex aroma along with full and supple flavors and a long finish…
